On August 3rd, 15 Young Carers from Warwickshire and Coventry had the adventure of a lifetime at the Leicestershire Aero Club, Leicester Airport. The weather cleared just in time, allowing these amazing young people to take to the skies, and the feedback has been incredible!

From taking control of the plane themselves to overcoming nerves and enjoying the friendly atmosphere, each Young Carer had a unique and memorable experience. One participant described the day as “10/10,” while another shared, “I departed the plane feeling like I was still on cloud 9.” It was truly a day filled with joy, discovery, and the magic of flight.
