Aviation Without Borders, a leading humanitarian aviation charity, uses its aviation expertise, contacts and partnerships to enable support for children and their families – at home and overseas.

We ship humanitarian air cargo overseas for UK charities active abroad, we help fly light aircraft in air support of other charities operating in Africa. Additionally, at home, we conduction a humanitarian airlift, flying up to 500 deserving kids nationwide each year on a flight of their lives in small planes.

Humnitarian Air Cargo Shipments

AWB uses its air cargo experience, expertise, knowledge and contacts to help UK charities ship humanitarian supplies throughout the world for a wide range of humanitarian projects.

Aircraft Operations

Humanitarian air transport links provided by Cessna 208 Grand Caravan aircraft that offer air support for NGOs operating in the field in Africa.

National Flying Kids Day

On one day in June each year AWB flies up to 500 deserving kids in small planes at flying clubs throughout the UK, from Aberdeen to Cardiff to Southampton.

On Track Project

The On Track Project by Aviation Without Borders (AWB) UK is an educational initiative aimed at guiding and inspiring young people who are interested in pursuing a career as an airline pilot.

Volunteering

To volunteer with us, you need to complete our Volunteer Application Form, available on our website. Once submitted, our team will review your application and contact you with next steps.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life! While no specific aviation experience is required, any skills in logistics, aviation, healthcare, or humanitarian work are greatly appreciated. Specific missions may require certain skills or qualifications.

There is no strict minimum commitment. The amount of time required will depend on the nature of the project or mission you choose to participate in.

Membership

Becoming an AWB member means you are officially part of our global network, helping to support our mission financially and through advocacy. Membership is a one-time donation of £20, which grants you lifetime membership.

As a member, you’ll receive regular updates on our activities, invitations to special events, and have the opportunity to get more involved in our mission. Members can also vote on key organizational matters during the annual general meetings.

To become a member, simply fill out the Membership Application Form on our website and donate the £20 membership fee. Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your membership will be valid for life.

You can make your one-time £20 donation securely through our website using credit or debit cards. All payments are processed securely, and you will receive a receipt via email.

Donations and Fundraising

Yes, we greatly appreciate any additional donations. You can make one-off or recurring donations through our website to support our various projects and missions.

Absolutely! We encourage supporters to run fundraising campaigns to help raise awareness and support for AWB. Please contact us for materials and advice on setting up a fundraiser.
